Seven Exciting New Products for Contemporary Offices

A comfortable and functional workplace is created through thoughtful choices. The latest product launches from leading Scandinavian and Western European office furniture manufacturers reflect the key trends shaping today’s workspaces. Smart solutions, acoustic comfort, sustainable materials, and timeless design remain at the forefront, offering lasting value both aesthetically and functionally.

ELKE Mööbel’s Lead Project Manager for Business Clients, Kätlin Getko, has selected seven new products that stand out for their well-considered functionality, high-quality craftsmanship, and exceptional design. These solutions are equally suitable for large corporate offices and smaller workplaces, helping to create inspiring and efficient work environments.

One of the most important keywords in modern office design continues to be acoustics. In open-plan offices, excessive noise directly affects concentration, productivity, and overall wellbeing, driving demand for solutions that reduce sound without compromising aesthetics. While only a few years ago acoustic products mainly consisted of wall and desk panels, today acoustic properties are increasingly integrated into everyday furniture and interior elements.

A great example is acoustic felt lighting, which combines high-quality illumination with effective sound absorption to create quieter, more comfortable, and more productive workspaces. The slim acoustic panel is intersected by a precise line of light, transforming the pendant into a calm horizontal design feature rather than a visible technical installation. A variety of felt colours and wood-grain finishes allow the fixture either to blend seamlessly into understated interiors or become a striking focal point.

Interstuhl’s popular UP seating collection has been expanded with a new, more environmentally friendly version. ECO UP is a modern ergonomic height-adjustable stool that combines smart design, active sitting, and sustainable materials. Its lightweight construction, integrated carrying strap, and smooth height adjustment make ECO UP an ideal companion for offices, home offices, collaboration areas, and breakout spaces.

ECO UP is made from bio-based plastic enriched with wood fibres, while both the seat and base incorporate cork. The dynamic seat encourages natural movement, helps improve posture, and supports active engagement of the back and core muscles throughout the day.

Inspired by the harmony of nature, the Cluster meeting table brings a fresh perspective to work and meeting spaces. Its defining feature is a playful arrangement of legs with different diameters, reminiscent of the natural growth patterns found in forests, creating a distinctive yet balanced design.

Smartly integrated cable management conceals wires and power outlets, keeping the tabletop clean and uncluttered. Available in various sizes with wood or lacquered finishes, Cluster fits seamlessly into meeting rooms as well as collaborative work areas.

Designer José Manuel Ferrero drew inspiration from tailoring and textile craftsmanship. The seat resembles a spool of thread, while the upholstery texture and airy metal frame create the impression of a custom-made piece of furniture.

Cuff’s minimalist form allows it to adapt effortlessly to a variety of environments, from reception areas and lounges to collaborative spaces and meeting rooms.

Reception areas, lounge spaces, and informal meeting zones often shape the first impression of a company. For this reason, even smaller interior elements play an important role in creating a cohesive environment. Designed by the Actiu design team, the Eidos side tables add timeless style and practical functionality to these spaces.

The collection stands out through its wide variety of shapes, sizes, and finishes. By combining different tables, it is possible to create dynamic and distinctive compositions suitable for lobbies, waiting areas, and lounge-style collaboration spaces.

The defining characteristic of the Split collection is the seamless combination of textile and metal. The upholstery extends beyond the seat and backrest into the structure itself, meeting the elegantly curved steel tubes to create a refined and distinctive appearance.

The result is a timeless, sculptural furniture piece that fits beautifully into executive meeting rooms, lounge areas, and reception spaces.

Coffee corners, collaboration areas, and informal meeting points require furniture that is easy to move, rearrange, and adapt to different situations. The Knop collection has been created precisely for these kinds of flexible environments.

Designed by Freek Roels, the collection combines sculptural forms with everyday practicality. The solid wood legs are available in oak, walnut, or lacquered finishes, while the distinctive rounded seats and tabletops create a playful composition reminiscent of a colourful mushroom forest. The chairs feature a 360-degree swivel seat.
