Lighting: how to choose the right one for your living room?

Choosing the most suitable lighting solution for your living room depends a lot room size and if your living room is part of an open kitchen.

If your living room is rather small in size and is combined with an open kitchen, it is probably not the best idea to use big pendant lamps. In this case, it is better to illuminate the living room with floor or wall lamps that add coziness to the room, and install a bigger pendant over the kitchen table or the kitchen island. This way the pendant in the kitchen also adds enough light to the living room area. Separate lighting solutions also work as dividers between the living room and the kitchen zone.
