According to Rene Safin, the goal of the embassy's interior renovation was to create modern and functional workspaces within the historic and dignified building, considering the needs of both employees and embassy guests. The spaces were made more open, cozy, and thereby even more representative.
One of the most significant changes, as highlighted by Safin, was relocating the kitchen to a logistically more logical position for improved functionality. The space freed up from the kitchen was transformed into a cozy and representative lounge area, serving as a natural extension of the large hall nearby.
In addition to the interior spaces, the embassy's outdoor terraces were also refreshed. According to Safin, the renewed terraces now feel like an even more natural part of the embassy’s premises.
