Autumn design refresh: new furniture and accessories from HAY

This autumn, HAY introduces a variety of new designs, including Marc Morro's Taburete 8 Bar Stool and the Colour Rack by Muller Van Severen. Stefan Scholten presents the multifunctional Facet Cabinet, and Doshi Levien launches the Quilton Lift. Additionally, HAY offers vibrant accessories like the Miz Water Bottle, bringing fresh energy to everyday life.

HAY Facet Cabinet is a versatile, multifunctional storage solution that is easy to move around. Its name taken from the faceted surfaces, which add a sophisticated slant to the minimalist design, Facet combines visual appeal with high functionality. Featuring a revolving integrated door and supplementary wheels, Facet is designed to adapt its task to its surroundings.

HAY’s Tin Containers are a collection of functional and decorative storage boxes featuring colourful checked patterns and a glossy finish. The lid and container are smoothly aligned, creating a sleek, seamless appearance, whilst ensuring an airtight fit that is suitable for dry food storage. Available in a wide assortment of sizes, shapes and designs, the Tin Container can be placed decoratively on shelves or tables around the home for storing and organising different items.

Described by designers Doshi Levien as a ‘quilted landscape sofa system’, Quilton serves as a central platform for living, working, socialising, and relaxing. The Quilton Lift Sofa combines the series’ generous dimensions and sculpted forms with solid wooden legs that elegantly lift the sofa to create a light, contemporary expression. The finely-detailed quilting encapsulates the softness and volume of the foam and wadding seats, creating exceptional comfort.

Brim is an ambient pendant with a coloured pressed glass shade, inspired by classic glass pendants from past times. The familiar light typology has been updated in new materials and construction to optimise the function whist retaining the pendant’s timeless aesthetics. The internal sphere conceals the bulbs, which is surrounded by a distinctive fluted glass shade that enhances the light diffusion.

Designed by Spanish designer Marc Morro, Taburete 8 Bar Stool uses direct design language to create a functional and robust bar stool with a distinct yet minimalistic expression. Both the curved plywood seat and steel tubing frame are clearly presented, with the different components enhanced by their raw simplicity and bold use of colour.

BIG-GAME’s Tape Coat Rack uses bent steel bars in a grid format to create a minimalistic and versatile design. Easy to mount on the wall, Tape Coat Rack features multiple hooks at varying heights to offer optimal hanging options. The simple design is easy to integrate in hallways, bedrooms, and other spaces in the home.

Drome is a versatile table lamp defined by its distinctive oval shape. The lamp’s stretched elliptical form changes the perception of the lamp, depending on which angle it is viewed from. Concealed inside the hollow form is a replaceable integrated light source, creating a unified, minimalistic silhouette that enables light to glow through it. The inline step dimmer allows the light output to be adjusted, making the lamp a versatile light source that can be used to create atmosphere in a variety of environments and settings, from a bedside table or desk to a windowsill or bookshelf.

Muller Van Severen’s innate sense of colour and proportions are showcased to perfection in this design collaboration with HAY. With its simple, sculptural form, the Colour Rack makes an elegant and functional alternative to a wardrobe, and can also be creatively used as a room divider. The flat-packed design, combined with the C- and S-shaped options, and beautiful colours make it a versatile and visually appealing item that brings balance to its surroundings.

Designed by Jonas Trampedach, Shim Coffee Table is a versatile coffee table in steel featuring a three-legged design. The table legs feature a unique cut and bent construction that creates a simple yet sculptural expression. Available in two sizes in a variety of high gloss and natural finishes, Shim’s graphic elegance makes it suitable for a wide variety of private and office environments.

Designed for HAY by Naoto Fukasawa, the simple yet colourful Miz Water Bottle reflects the Japanese designer’s characteristically minimalistic approach to designing objects. Featuring a slim shape with clean lines, Miz Water Bottle is made from recycled PET with a removable silicone ring for easy cleaning. Available in different sizes and colours with matching lids, Miz Water Bottle can be used to keep drinks cool in the fridge or used on the go.
