Split Tray draws upon a simple childhood memory – Danish designer Aleksandar Lazic’s recollection of his grandfather chopping logs at the family summer house, splitting firewood with an axe. Aleksandar translates the visual and tactile texture of wood into solid brass, another natural and honest material, lightly grooved and ridged for a truly multi-sensory experience.
